I havnt played in a few weeks because of exams and the cardboard box I was using for a mouse pad has caved in = frusterating. Once I have a mode of transport I'll be getting a computer desk, as I now have the money for one.

I now play Condition Zero online, the maps are visually nicer, even though practically the same, but the weapon models look far superior to anything on 1.6, does anyone know why this is?

it happens very little, but more often than not i'm the one behind the awp where the person survives with a couple of hp left.

I casually play CS now.

5 years ago, up until 3 years ago. That's all I played. Up to the point where our clan played OGL to get into a high ranking CAL league.

OGL was a joke, we creamed all over everyone.

However, for tactical playing, I like DoD and DoD:S.

Evil Smurfs is an awesome server. If you get an awesome mod in there and say "PLAY THE CHOPPER SOUND!" they'll play the clip from Predator where Arnold goes "RUNNNNNNNNNNNNN! GOOOOOO! GET TO DA CHOPPA!" it's awesome. The map rotation is most of the "official" maps, so I don't really have a problem with that.

People should stop complaining about awps. It's annoying, but they're part of the game. I'm strictly a m4/ak person (who isnt?), but if I feel like awping, ill do it, and I won't notice a difference in my kill counts.

If you're getting choke/loss, lower your update rate to 90, it it continues, lower by 20 more. If still continues, find a new server.

I hacked once on a non-Vac server. It was fun for about 3-4 minutes then I went back to normal playing. Walling was probably the funnest. Fighter FX 7.0 was what I used.

ive seen a couple of probably aim bots in call of duty 2 and i am forever catching wall hackers in call of duty 2 when you ask for high skill scrims

I am not especially good at 1.6 mainly because I'm too lazy to play competitively, i.e. I autobuy, run when I should be walking, always use AK/M4

I just play to have fun which is mainly why I'm not the best player

There are also things new people don't understand like burst fire, using left handed config, understanding the maps and setting your rates so you could have any of those problems

Haha don't be stupid, I've played both 1.6 and Source for ages and there are heaps of godawful players in both games.

If you have moderate skill in 1.6, sure you can beat people in Source pubs, just like if you have moderate skill in Source you can beat people in 1.6 pubs.

Depends on a load of things including network latency and server tick rate, just jump, crouch, jump, crouch, but whilst doing that press left or right whilst moving your mouse from side to side, it's easy to maintain on slopes but you'll gradually slow down on flat.

Crouch you say, I've only been doing jump + left/right.

You can do it both ways. =o

Crouching makes you go further but it is also harder for timing.

EDIT- I don't mean crouch the entire time, but do crouch jumps so you're crouching whilst mid air.

I've never played a match with skins, the only skins I ever used were high-res AK and Colt skins because they look prettier than the defaults but silly anti-cheating people don't like them. :<

i dont see how it is possible to be easier when any advantage you might gain (larger models/hitboxes etc) are also extended to whoever you play against

as far as player skill goes there is a difference at the higher levels simply because 1.6 has been around longer and has more experienced teams playing in leagues


otherwise i think you play bad servers or just perceive it to be easier because you dont want to like it

Ok, so recently when I connection Condition Zero I can play on the first server for about 1 minute, then the Connection Problem occurs. So I change server, and it is fine from then on. Any idea how to stop this from happening, as it gets a little tedious.

What is your guys opinion on the FAMAS (Clarion)? I've been using it to great effect on office. I think its a great rifle for cheap. The only downside is the 25 round capacity.
