One thing I hate more than anything is breaking strings while playing live. I recently came across an ad about String Savers guitar saddles that make it almost impossible to break strings. My problem is they seem to only come available for Fenders and not for Gibsons.

I want to know if there is any other sort of Saddle that claims to stop strings from breaking, and if they can be fitted onto my Gibson Les Paul Studio?

Thanks!

well theyre made because old fender bridges have steel spur that break strings sometimes

if its happening on a Gibby then YOU are probly the cause, not the bridge

No, I am currently using an American HH Telecaster. How could I be the cause for excessive string breaking? Hell. Maybe I am. But if I am I need some tips on how to NOT break them so much. Heavier strings? Restringing tips? Anything?

Heavier strings would work. Is there a specific place you keep breaking them?
