Is one of the best Fat Wreck Chords bands ever. Joey Cape proves he can not only play guitar like he does in MFATGG but that he can sing. Hoss is one of my favorite albums. I reccommend the song Violins if you can download it somewhere.

amazing band. tony hawks 2 ftw. i always loved the drumming and melodies general.
They're freakin' awesome, but I only have Duh! and Resolve. Daily upload anyone? :p
Aside from NOFX, Lagwagon and Propagandhi were like the first Fat Wreck bands. All three are wicked good, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I saw them live this summer.
Let's Talk About Leftovers was amazing, but I thought their newer stuff was kind of bland.

I was wondering, when people say " it took me awhile to get into these guys" does that mean you did not like them, but focred yourself to listen untill you did? im honestly just wondering because i never got that phrase.

When I first heard them, I wasn't really into them, but I gave them a few more plays, and their music finally 'grew on me'.

I do that a lot. Some bands I will listen to once and then forget about, but more people will talk about them positively, so I tend to listen to them again. I listened to Vheissu 4 times through before I realized it was a good album.

I am the exact same.

I loves me some Lagwagon. Their Live in a Dive is one of the best live albums I've ever heard. Trashed and Hoss FTW.

^ Good to see you're no longer hibernating. I was getting worried. :(
The quitesscent (is that a word) pop-punk band, almost. They haven't recorded a single bad song, nor a single bad album. I love them to death. In fact, today I caught myself wearing both a Lagwagon t-shirt and a Lagwagon hoodie (though, as I wore the hoodie over the t-shirt, I doubt anyone noticed). Few pop-punk bands are as good or better.

Really great and definitive Pop-Punk band, with a sound so recognized in others now. I only own Hoss and Lets Talk About Feelings, but Violins and May 16 are amazing songs.
I think you meant quintessential.
You know what? I think so too.
