well i was wondering if there was a way you could turn a guitar with frets, into a fretless guitar. If this is possible, is it easy, and how would you do this? thnx:confused:

ya you could i would say its kinda easy . how you do it is you get a chizel or somthing simmilar and pry off th frets . then you get wood filler and fill in the slots then you sand the whole next starting w/ a rougher gritt then working your way to a very fine gritt like 200- 300 uhntill its nice and smooth

Prying frets off will not leave you with a clean slot, bits of wood will chip out.
Use a soldering iron to heat the fret first, then gently wiggle out the frets with either a special fret puller

or something similar, i have used a thin blade before.

Look up a guide to defretting a bass, it will be pretty much the same job.
