It almost reminds me of a psychodellic Dr. Seuss poem. I really like it!

Thank you!

I feel that I am going to try and write a poetry piece that's supposed to be read in 5/4 for fun one of these days.

5/4? That would be impressive. But it would be much more impressive if it was done in 15/16. If someone could write poetry that well, I'm pretty sure they'd be the only rich poet. At all. LOL

OK I don't expect much from you, so that's good.

simple nimble noises not like roar
dull brown grey ever-swirling roar unlistenable we can hear it

don't use contractions. "miscelaneous", for instance. The images are pretty vivid, but as usual I can't catch the vibe. Argh.

making a box. this box is kind of made. making, making, making a box.

Again...

pictures oh so keen

I'm not very keen of rhyming, but this one works particularly well.

careening whipping wheels wear down the ground
oh wheee. we are chasing a ****ing criminal whoo.

At least you could swear properly. As usual. I can't get through what you say. It seems to me as random images... about... I don't know. It seems like love material in the end, somewhat a confused young lad in the beginning, a car crash, or an acid trip, or an accident. I don't know.

Poetry isn't written in time signatures. The closest you can get is metered poetry. Just a little something I thought you might like to know.

It could be a polymetric song.

And the funny thing is Jordan is banned lol.

Musical structure has no real bearing on poetic form. You could write in the style of a time signature, e.g. five syllables in a four line verse, but it wouldn't be in 5/4, just an imitation.

yeah.

Okay Tojes,
Crumble crunching misc noise flowers random as splashes with drop dripsokay this means crumble crunching sounds, (misc sounds/noise) flowers (verb) randomly
as
splashes with drop drips (it rains)

so:
im describing the small sounds that seem profound to me because of the wierd mood i was in that made depressed/nervy and it seems insignifigant but thats the irony because it is very significant to me at that time.

making a box. this box is kind of made. making, making, making a box.
brown wet cardboard, the box the box the box.
this box sucks.i think this is my fight back at the depression-ish state and its deosnt seem to be cheering me up. i am insignificant.

weird stanzas stanza'd awwwww.an kind of turnaround, almost happy. uses onamotapoeaiea at the end and alliteration
to a movie i sit
i watch i hear fidget a bit
hello says the screen
pictures oh so keennow here is what happened to me

its very sarcastic poetry

its supposed to show that i think its absurd that i wouldnt write a surprising "weird" poem like this
careening whipping wheels wear down the ground
oh wheee. we are chasing a ****ing criminal whoo.

stipple stapple

staple.

i am unable to

get through.

to you.describing the movie and then frustration that the mood i was in was so hard to express.

don't use contractions. "miscelaneous", for instance. The images are pretty vivid, but as usual I can't catch the vibe. Argh.well i write with my own logic that i cant expect anyone to really understand but their aesthetic sensual presentation is pretty interesting itself so i want to see if people catch on to any of it

supposed to be read in 5/4

Regardless, music =/= poetry. Words have no (or were not given) note values. There is no inherent basis or reason for them to be placed within the confines of musical notation. Placing poetry into a musical format is akin to measuring temperature in dollars; it has no meaning because the each is not related to the other.

Anyway, this is a bit of a futile arguement and its just derailing the thread.

Its very good in its own way, its like not much I've ever read before and the explanation helps alot.
