iPod shizz

So yeah, I've had my iPod for almost two years and aside from the common **** I've never had a problem with it. And I've search all over Google for an answer for this and came up empty handed.

I tried using it yesterday, but when I clicked on a song, it just shut off. That's happened to me before so I think its no biggie and just try charging it. When I plugged it in, the Apple logo came on the screen, but right after that a file symbol with an exlamation point came on and it just kept repeating itself. Even when I restart it manually I can't use it.

Help anyone?

1. Check the rules thread for the official mp3 thread
2. Go to Apple's site, the help there is based off the assumption the consumer knows nothing. they explain the exclamation point and everything. odds are if resetting it doesn't work you're effed.
