Paul Speckmann = God.

Now that we have got that out of the way, any fans? Master are essential to anyone interested in old-school Death Metal or the more extreme side of Thrash. Master, along with Pestilence, are probably the most overlooked early Death Metal band.

The best Speckmann related albums:

Master - Master, On The Seventh Day God Created... Master
Death Strike - ****in' Death

Abomination - Tragedy Strikes is also enjoyable Thrash, although it could have been better.

use this thread for discussion of Master or any Paul Speckmann project

of course when I say discussion I actually mean worship

If you like old school death you should like Master. You should like Master regardless. Studies show that not liking Master is directly related to homosexual preferences.

I fall to my knees and worship at the unholy altar of Master

Fixed a minor spelling mistake for you

I still haven't heard Master :(

I've been looking for those two albums by them for a while, but no luck. I didn't realise how pointless it is to search for the self-titled album of a band called "Master" on ebay.

Looking forward to the day I do find them, though.

I uploaded the self titled for the daily upload a couple weeks ago. I save all the issues so I can send you the link if you want.

Thanks, but I'm alright, I'll just wait til I find it somewhere. Got enough new music to be listening to as it is (in fact, just picked up Like an Everflowing Stream about an hour ago).

Like An Everflowing Stream is amazingly good.

If you are going to get one Master album, make sure it's the self-titled. If not, On The Seventh Day God Created... Master. The Unreleased '85 album is also good, but it's very similar to Master, really.

The self-titled is a killer for sure. If you don't love the old thrash flavored death metal of old, we have no reason to converse.

Does anyone know if Collection of Souls is good? It's Master so I'm assuming it's good, but I wanna be sure.
