Hmm in the spirit of the thread.. well haha the forums filled with questions!

I like the zen aspects of drumming, going beyond strict technique to different mental approaches and angles of approaching phrasings and stickings.

for instance.. for some time now, i've seen paradiddles as simply stick turn arounds. with more limited motion even in many of the basic rudiments, 1 wrist motion per hand and so on.. *shrug*
