carmen appice clinic

Well I took a 2 hr drive to rochester to see my idol carmen appice. IT was seriousally the best day of my life. I got to talk to him for little wile, and singned some things for me. The clinic was awesome, I got so many ideas. But when I thought this day couldent get any better I won a pair of his signature sticks, a pedal practice pad. And the most random thing, a Zildjian Pang china. I researched this cymbal when I got home and its been discontinued for like 8 years! Carmen sponsers Sabian so raffeling the china was random and yet sweet for me.

Then when they were taking down his kit, a tech gave me something called an anvil, I guess you put it under your snare and it makes it louder and gives it a better crack. Sadly I forgot my camera so I couldent get some pics of his kit or with him but I took some pics of all this FREE stuff i got. Best day ever!

that's sick dude, carmine appice is one of my favorites. his sticks are sweet too. i've almost converted to VF, i love the 3As, but i still love my Vater 3As and Pro-Mark oak 5Bs

I did some reseach on this cymbal and it actually not a china, its an exotic ride. It was made for Gene Krupa
