I have no idea whether or not this will work, or if it's already been done a million and one times, but I'll give it a go.
Basically, the first person says a band name, then the next person has to say a band name begining with the last letter of the band said previously. "The's" do not count. If the band name ends with a number (eg: Sum 41) the next band will start with the last letter of the number. (Sum forty one = E) So the next band could be Evermore.
All bands should be in the pop-punk genre, but debatable bands are acceptable. Just no Cradle Of Filth, Beethoven or anything stupid like that. Try to restrict it to remotly pop-punk bands.
I'll start us off:
The Offspring.

Didn't even think of them. I dig them but I don't listen to them much so they don't pop into my head (no pun intended).

They don't have an official one, so just search. These are the ones that actually have songs:

I dunno about you guys, but I can't think of any more 'Y' bands in pop-punk, so just to keep my precious thread alive I'ma cheat and say:
Weird Al Yankovic.
(Everyone knows last names come first: "Yankovic, Weird Al")
