Urgent help needed for my 360 (other owners needed)

I made the good move of setting my 360 to 1080p mode and now I can't even see anything but random lines and colors when I turn on my 360. Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to get back to the 720p setting. For example, like what to press how many times, etc.

Well, once your 360 is on, go 3 times to the right with your left analog and press A. That'll bring you to display settings... but my 360 is hooked up through a PC so I can't be specific on that part...sorry.

using the remote, go to the right 3 times, hit enter three times, move up one, and hit enter again.
