Discuss and if you disagree with any choices. What would you suggest instead?

Post the list, maybe? It's not working for me, even going there manually.

10 - The Evil Dead: Eye Gouging with Thumbs + Taking the rod out of the zombie's torso for added blood leakage
9 - Hellraiser 2: A man cuts his own body various times with a razor and a demon comes from the bottom of the bed and pwns him
8 - Day of the Dead: 10+ zombies rip apart a hopeless man
7 - Friday the 13th: Part 3: Jason's second kill after getting his mask. He hacks up the guy while he's walking around on his hands.
6 - Dead Alive: A man Mows a horde of zombies multiple times.
5 - Scanners: A man's head explodes.
4 - Zombie 2: A zombie grabs a girl by the head and slowly forces the girl's eye into a large wood splinter.
3. The Thing: A doctor attempts to revive a man with a defibrillator but has his hands eaten by the man's torso. Soon a monster emerges from the dead man's stomach (one ugly *** mo fukin monster) and is burned alive by Kurt Russell.
2. City of the Living Dead: A man forces a young man's head into an active rotating drill, very slowly... BTW: The drill goes all the way through his head
1. Jason X: Jason grabs the lady scientist by the head and shoves her face in a sink full of liquid nitrogen freezing her head instantly. Jason then proceeds to smash her face against the counter. Thousands of chunks of frozen human flesh.

If the link worked you could see the actual scenes from the movies. Hopefully it'll work soon.

oh and that the bed scene from the first nightmare on elm street isn't one of them is pretty much blasphemy

I thought the Jason X one was really funny. Jason throws the girl to the wall and she's yelling for help while the black guy isn't even paying attention.

That was more like the 10 goriest deaths, not the 10 best deaths. How about when Carry's mom dies in the shape of a crucifix?

That list sucks. It's going only by splatter, not by actual quality.

Of course, Maxim magazine knows its target audience...

The full scene from Braindead (Dead Alive) is like 45 minutes long.

And banned in so many countires. GG Peter Jackson.

The Jason X one was cool.

I can't watch it here, I'll comment on the rest later.

But surely Cannibal Holocaust should be on there?

And maybe one from Saw or Halloween?

You never see these types of deaths in movies these days, I don't think any of the movies on the list were made in the last 15 years.

Close enough.

Not really - it sucked.

There should be a rennaisance of splatter films. The current ones suck, and take themselves too seriously. Over the top = fun.

/goes off to find a copy of dead alive.

Number 4 is one of the most horrible things to watch. It should be higher from that list.
