Since xbox LIVE is such a thriving community, I thought it would be nice to mesh this world with theirs.

I'll be editing in peoples gamertag information, and I was throwing around ideas to even list the games people have for LIVE.

its like a 3rd person hack-n-slash where you level, find rare items, build shops, and even sell items. It's probably my favorite game to date, considering i've logged 36 hours under my character, and my finacee logged about 12 under hers

yea, its 10 bucks a month. at first, it really grates on your nerves. After I played the game for 20 hours, I knew I'd be paying that 10 bucks again the next month.

I got my girlfriend addicted to this game as well. That's even more of a reason to keep purchasing the online time.

Last night, i spent 15,000 (TON of money) to open up my own shop in the game. If someone, say, wants to buy a sword, he'd have to pay maybe 2,400 for a sword in the normal shop. I can put items up for sale, and even name the price I want to sell them for. People can search all available shops for specific items, and warp there to see what the prices are like.

What I find amazing about that is they can buy your items when you are away. If someone is in my shop while I'm in their with him, I can talk to anyone over the mic that is in my shop. We'll barter, or just bullsh!t.

It technically comes out today, but you're right.. usually it's shipped today in stores tomorrow however like I said the store my friend preordered at got em in stores early so he picked up a spare copy, said it was one of the last ones.

I have a question regarding Gears of War online:

I brought my system to my brothers to play it on live with him, and we set it up, I logged in, and it said that he needs to log in on a Live account to play also, on the SAME console as me. Does he need to buy his own Xbox Live account just to play it on live with me on the same console? I have played GR:AW with friends on one console with only one account needed, is there somethign I can do so I can have a friend over and it play it with them without having to buy another account? Thanks

anyway I'm back online in MotoGP, I'm goin for every achievement so the only two I need are extreme bike collector and 500 races completed... that'll be a bitch, but it'll be the only game I have the full 1000 points in.

Halo 2, which has held the "Most Played" weekly title on XBL since it attained that status, has finally been defeated.

Gears of War was the most played online game this previous week, and with most countries only getting it the latter half of the week, I doubt Halo 2 will reclaim the title, or if it does not for too long.

I know there's a Gears of War thread, but this is more total XBL news than anything, surprised I didn't see it mentioned already.

Now here's the question: What will Halo 3 be able to do? Are people getting tired of it, where only the hardcore fans will completely dig it? Or will it be a blind rush cause it says Halo?
My prediction: Gears of War 2 announcement sometime right near the launch of Halo 3. Trailer maybe, doubtfully, probably just a formal announcement and some screenshots.
I bet and hope it's a prequel where you play in the Pendulum Wars at the start of Emergence Day.

I started playing again because they FINALLY updated the server after a month. They added a whole new planet, and about 8 other levels on top of that.

Saturday night I literally passed out while playing PSU. Apparently I was idle long enough that they actually logged me off the server :lol:

Compared to how much I used to play PSU, it is a drastic improvement
