I havent been playing bass lately Ive been playing guitar but my distortion pedal broke so I decided to play my bass through my digitech sytnh wah. I dont use that pedal hardly at all and I just wanted to try it again with my bass. oh and I had my amp button pushed in which makes it sound louder and more distorted but it was sounding really cool I was just improvising a triipy solo and when I quit the amp was talking to me. It sounded like a wierd alien language through some old microphone and it wasnt that loud. So I just kept playing some trippy rhyth thing I made a while ago but I was using harmonics instead cause It just seemed like the moment or something. By the way I am kinda stoned but you dont hear clear sounding foreign language cause I stopped and it was still going on. I muted the bass and everything. Has anyone else had this happen before I got creaped out so I quite after about 45 min. Im gonna try to communicate to them My theory is that I opened some Link to someone or something and now I can play music to them. Im too lazy to read for typing errors so please just ignore them if there are any.

I hope you invited them over....
Maybe you started picking up radio signals. I had that problem once.

I was playing through my MXR di box in my friend's room one time and I started picking up a whole bunch of different radio stations. They kept fading in and out and it sounded trippy, so we recorded a bunch of it and have used clips in some of our songs.

Nice, Shellac did that too. I'll upload the song.

Thanks for helping, guys.

How old is the pedal? Is it faintly picking up radio stations, perhaps?

You know what, it probably was just interference with some station or something. At first I thought some foreign being was purposely trying to communicate to me cause they liked my music.
I guess I can be superstitous sometime especially when Im high.

Yeah man, it's definitely radio signals. The amp that I use now, which is just a crappy old off-brand guitar amp because I can't afford anything else right now, always picks up radio signals. They usually come in clear though and don't sound like creepy alien voices.
