Okay so i have an Ashdown mag300 115 combo 307 watts etc etc you all know im sure. Im looking for a cabinet with some low end and i saw the Avatar 2x12 neo i think, and im very interested in getting it but my concern is that its 500 watts and my amp is only 300 and thus the cabinet will only recieve 150 watts. Would it be worth it to buy this cabinet or should i look for a 2x10 or 1x12 or something smaller?
If that doesnt seem like a good solution, would a 4x10 be an alright decision? Do they provide some bottom end? The 15 in my combo doesnt have as much low end as youd imagine.

you want low end? you have a 15 inch speaker? it should have plenty of low end, 4x10s will give you punch, 2x12 will give you some low end and some punch

Another 15 would over-low you, try that maybe? I can't imagine an ashdown 15 not having low end. My 4x10 has plenty.

If I were you, I'd stick with what you've got, or upgrade to a separate head/1x15 cab.
Just turn the bass knob up.

It has low end yes, not as much as youd think though. But nevermind that though. What speaker config would pair up good with this? would a 4x10 be good? 2x12? 2x10? 1x12? I need some suggestions

As in a head or cab? If head then no. I just bought this combo last year and right now i dont really have the cash to buy a whole new setup,

well see whatever cab you get you wont be able to use the 1x15 that is attached, it will be one or the other, personally i would stick with the 15 if you want low end, if not a 2x10 or 2x12 cab is more than enough for any small to medium venues

I can use the 15 plus an extension cabinet. It puts out 180 watts or something at 8 ohms and 307 at 4 ohms.
