Jeff(guitarist, vocals) from This Day And Age announced the band would be going on an indefinite hiatus but they most likely are done playing together. He said that his passion for being in a band has faded. He doesn't enjoy touring anymore and hasn't written anything since they left the studio six months ago. They will play the rest of the tour dates on their current tour and then they're done. He says the remaining members will still play together but not as This Day and Age.

Is this a bummer for anyone? I have liked them for a while and I really liked ..Always Leave the Ground, but wasn't too into The Bell and the Hammer. I got a chance to see them live at Warped Tour and that was enjoyable but it's kind of a bummer they broke up.

Thoughts?

It sucks that they're breaking up, but their last show ever is in Buffalo, so at least I'll get to see them once more.

wtf, why is every band taking an "indefinite hiatus."

ATTN: Bands- Haituses suck. That is all.

Haha, seriously. It seems like every few days I read about a band I like going on an indefinite haitus.

Hey, B, there's 2 kids down the hall from me that are from Buffalo. Do you know Michael Dougher or Jeff Papia?
