uh ludwig puresound or something or other like that. I recently got a 14"x5" pork pie piglite acrylic snare. I really like it, although, now I want something wit some warmth to contrast it.

then buy the damn artwood, it's an amazing drum. you've got to be completely anti tama not to like it

hey, the only reason I suggested something is that is what he asked. nowhere did he say, "Is the tama artwood snare a good snare?"

yes it is a good snare, I was just answering his question

I have a Piccilo art wood. Love it, although I need a snare stand for it. If I got the 6.5" I'd use it as my main! But I didn't :(

Its an amazing snare. At my local store, i tryd a Starclassic maple and my artwood, and the sound just the same. The only difference is that starclassics have die cast hoops and different lugs. and $300 more

Thats how good the snare is.... get it
