i need a mount to mount an 8" tom, it would be mounted by tama starcast(spare me on the negative comments) the L-rod looks a little thick, will it fit?

haha. Bad description and not the typical ebay seller, but hes got 100% positive feedback so at least hes trustworthy.

I kinda dont think it will work. Then again, I dont work with that kind of mounting.

DW l rods are 12MM, whereas the starcast uses 10MM

The only companys i know of that use 10MM are premier, and tama. Premier make L rods which are reversible. One end is 12mm, and the other is 10.

Stick with the tama roadpro stuff. It'll probably last longer than the DW stuff and will most likely be cheaper

Nope it wont fit.... Tama Mounts fit only 10.5mm rods while the DW/Pacific is a 1/2 inch diameter which is about 12.7mm
