Listen to "Wormwood, Radiation" if you are unconvinced of their prowess at hardcore music.

I dont know how I got it actually. Search the emo or screamo rooms on soulseek. I assume thats how I got it. If I can figure out how to use ysi after work I'll post it here.

Off Minor I could definitely see. Gospel's good but I don't know.

Could name a band that is more original or moving than Gospel? I have had The Moon is a Dead World for around a year now and I still get chills when I listen to it.

i understand what you guys mean when you talk about gospel but a lot of the times it just soounds like you guys just up their originality.
a band is not good solely based on how original it is. i would definitely say there are way better things to gospel then their "originality". but yeah i catch your drifts even though they would not be in my 3, i certainly can understand how they would be in urs

it's just refreshing to hear a band do something so different with hardcore.

I like the fact that every single moment of every single song is so ****ing intense and, I dont know how to explain it except as just "real". I do not get that feeling for any other band out right now and for only like 2 from the past. Gospel are in my opinion the best emo band on the planet and in the top 3 in ****ing hardcore.

Off Minor in my opinion is better than Gospel.
But, Gospel still ****ing wrecks.
whiteminority

Off Minor share a lot of the same intensity with Gospel but I gotta go with Gospel.
pixiesfanyo
10-19-2006, 08:52 PM
I just like the way Off Minor is just like straight up *** kicking.
Gospel is more proggy, and **** and while it's cool, it isn't as easy to listen to as Off Minor at times.
whiteminority
10-19-2006, 08:58 PM
I like how Off Minor kept and took to a whole new level the way Saetia did the jazzy parts.
cobert
10-19-2006, 09:03 PM
Good band.
/bandwagon
I'd probably take Off Minor over Gospel. As said, its easier to jump right into Off Minor, and I have to be in a mood to listen to Gospel.
pixiesfanyo
10-19-2006, 09:09 PM
Also, they made the hardcore parts less pussy, and more chaotic. Which helped the balance be much better.

Gospel is definitely in the top 3. I don't know who the other band would be, probably Envy.
whiteminority
10-19-2006, 10:09 PM
I dunno about Envy, I like them and all but I'm pretty sure I'm going to sell my copy of Insomniac Doze when it gets expensive on eBay.
pixiesfanyo
10-19-2006, 10:44 PM
Envy's singer looks like a panda live.
It totally ruins them.
Plus, you can skip through alot of their songs and hear the same thing over and over again.
I mean Insomniac is good, but I doubt they'll have another good release after it.
Matt?
10-19-2006, 10:58 PM
i definitely can get into off minor easier than gospel.
yet still i have to be feelin a certain way to put on some off minor. they are so good but i'm never really in the mood.
this is my compound inequality showing the bands i find easier to dig.
off minor>gospel>envy

Cred to Sam for getting me into them.

I still haven't gotten into Gospel, I'll have to give them a good listen sometime.
Ampere/Sinaloa is the shizzz, I actually made the effort to buy the CD, totally worth it.
