2nd game: 257
3rd game: 211 (bagh!)


702 series. It was the first time I've bowled a 700 series in about 4 months.

1st game: 222

3rd game: 254

693. I haven't shot 700 in quite some time and would have come close but left the ten pin in the 11th frame thus limiting me to a total of 20 pins instead of a possible 30.

You do much better than I do when in league. Those games I bowled last night were done in league format (two lanes) but weren't in league. I paced myself too. A minute between frames.

1st game:

9/ X X X 9/ X X X X [7]2 ---- threw a 6,7,10 split 10th frame. :upset:

2nd game:

6/ X X X X X X X X 9- --- missed the 7 pin by a hair. :(

3rd game:

X 8- 6/ X X X 9/ 7/ X X 91 --- the first open: 4,7 (:( .. gah!) and 10th frame, 7 pin.


I'm usually good with 7 pins. I usually flop on the 10th frame for some reason.


oh, 267 is my high game. meh. I expect to come close to, or actually beat that this upcoming wednesday in league.

Ouch, those are really good games and all but if you could mark in the 10th frame then you'd be even better. Do you get nervous before the 10th frame or do you just screw up the shot?

I was bowling yesterday and got 96 in the first and 103 in the second game :upset:

but I hardly ever bowl and the balls were all either to heavy or the holes were too small so it made PLOP and hurt my fingers everytime :(

I don't know. 10th frame, I'll do something stupid like suitcase the ball or turn my hand or trip slightly on my approach and decide then and there to continue on with it.

I went bowling today while I was at work and in one game I opened in the first frame because I missed the ten pin by about an inch. I then proceeded to throw eleven strikes in a row to get a 279. It's funny how one slight mistake can lower a score by that much.

Today I was trying to pick up 7 10 splits and couldn't do it. I tried throwing the ball to the left side of the 7 pin to knock it over to the 10 pin but there just isn't enough lane. Then I tried throwing it on the right side of the pin and that didn't get me anywhere. It's hard to beleive how people have actually picked this up, I actually think that this split is harder to get then a 300 game.

Anyway ... the score to get, which is more impressive to those who know bowling is a 292. get 11 strikes and then on the last ball, pick off just two pins out of a full rack.

Whats so impressive about knocking down two pins? I do it all the time, on accident, because I'm awful and cant knock down any more.

I normally bowl around 100. I've done as badly as 55, and my best score is right around 160. That was definitely a one-time thing.

Bowling is super fun, but I would never want to do it competitively.

I don't think you can knock down two pins all the time. On a full rack of ten pins it's extremely difficult to knock down two pins. It's very easy to get three pins on a full rack, but two pins is a rarity.

You're very consistant except for the 164. It's kind of funny how you went from a 257 to a 164, I hate when you bowl a really good game and then just screw everything up the very next game.

While I was working I bowled some games, four with my right hand and four with my left.

This is a random question but how many lanes does your bowling alley have? Mine only has 12 and they rarely get filled up so I can just bowl for free whenever I please :)

I only bowl 3 game series ... one and done doesn't work for me.


so it was a 211, 234, 257 .... and then the following day, a 164, 215, 256 (I got progressively better. Couldn't hit the pocket the first game).



oh ... 24 lanes but it's dead in here during the day (during my shift).


I don't bowl on the clock or I get docked for pay (stupid jewish owners) ... so I post on mx instead. :smash:

Wow, some of you all are ridiculous! I"m the most inconsistent bowler in the world, last time out I got three spares and a strike in my first four frames, then hit like four pins (total) in next three turns. I don't bowl that often though :D

Math isn't one of my strengths but I think that those three games equal a 721 series. Still, that's very impressive.

Tonight I'm bowling in a local tournament and I could possibly win $500. It's at the bowling alley in which I work at so I have a good chance.

Bowling is a sport. When you go bowling you have to have mechanics or else it's difficult to stay consistent. You also have to be extremely accurate or else you will not be very successful. Just because it's not a physical game does not mean that it isn't a sport.

So ... last monday, in league, I shot a 299. :D My high game! Every shot was right in the pocket but on the last ball, I threw it a little high and left a six pin!


So I kept that pin. It's sitting by my desk right now at home. I get a 299 ring.


I followed it up with a 213 (the lane broke down halfway through the second game and we had to move).

Then my third game, on a completely different pair, I shot a 143 :upset:. I was hitting the pocket and just leaving splits splits splits! :upset:

Still though, a 655 series.

I used to bowl on a league, but that was back when I was like 12. I only avg'd 120 or so with a high game of 164. So yeah, i wasn't very good.

I have a friend though who's pretty good at bowling. He bowls on a league, and he averages about 210 or so. He's bowled 2 300-games methinks, but he's pretty sporadic with his scores.

Damn i wish I would have stayed with a sport throughout high school. )=

I don't know if I posted in this thread already, but I used to bowl in a league. Back then I was better than I am now. I used to average around 200 - 210, and my team came second to last because my teammates blew.

I started bowling for fun like a year or two ago with some friends, two from the league, but because of school I haven't been able to go.
