Cubasis VST skipping

When I record with Cubasis VST is skips all the time. Any ideas how to make this stop? Its not the interface because it doesnt skip on any other programs

Cubasis VST is something like 5 versions out of date. It could be any number of problems with the software being incompatible with current operating systems or drivers. You should try upgrading to a more recent product first.
