Mixer with about 12 inputs to run into my computer to record with?
I'm looking for some pretty good tones out of it. My spending limit is abouttt... I'd say around 500-600 bucks. Thanks guys.

Also, how would I make it possible for the people recording to use headphones while playing... I need to buy a headphone preamp or something like that?

You can get a Mackie Onyx for about that. I recently got one and I think it's awesome. I got the 1620 for $520 off of eBay.

get a peavy headphones splitter. it's only like 30 bucks or something.
