so, whatdya think of his new solo stuff, or rather whats available so far of it.

i like it, good laid back ska-rythm and also some dub in there.

what do yall think?

Yeah, there's a new one at http://www.myspace.com/rancid

it's called Wake Up, not as good as Hold On, but still pretty good. It's still more ska than most Rancid.

I don't think it's going to be released in the conventional way, but rather each song will be available to download at some point.

riiiiiiight

i just hope this inspires more people to release music for free. like whole albums, not just samplers.

i know BTMI! do it, and i love them, any more punk/ska bands that do this?

I like the new stuff. Kind of reminds of Life Won't Wait which is Rancids second best album.

I once saw Tim at a club because he lives close to me. He's a dick. Lars is nice in person though.

hold on is a pretty good song; the other one is not so great. i dont know, ill have to hear more. when i first heard this i thought it would be just another way for tim armstrong to make some more money, but its cool that that record will be free on the internet
