tips on singing

i wanna sound more excited when im singing. whenever im recording myself i sound really bland and not enthusiastic. anybody got any tips on how to get better?

Sing with intensity (which is not the same thing as singing with tension). I'm not sure there's a way I can tell you how to do this. It just requires focus and energy. It might help to hear a recording of you; it could be there are some more technical points that could help out.

Know the meaning of the song and get into the feel of it. Express yourself. You're obviously holding back!

P/S: Watch out for the high notes, though. Sometimes you would get too caught up with singing that you forget to approach high notes with the right technique. :p
