Yeah, I know these threads don't need to be made everytime someone famous dies, but I just thought i'd let everybody know.

The news has only just come through, so i'd wait out a bit for the full story, but basically he's had cancer for a while and has died at the age of just 27.

He was a pretty sweet player.

Yeah, I just read this. Rest in peace Paul, an excellent player, and a true example of an indomitable spirit.

I just read the news about 3 minutes ago. Very depressing :( . He was a great snooker player, I remember when he had his long blonde curtains hair-do in the late 90's.

I can't believe he died of cancer at the age of 27, so young to die. He also has a 9 month old daughter.

Yeah, I heard about this last night, awful awful news.

I'm a big snooker fan and he was probably my favorite player; it really saddens me to hear this news.

RIP,

It is so depressing when people that age get cancer and die. Hopefully he will get a trophy named after him.

My 2nd favourite player of all time. Such a talented player too. SHame he never won the WC :(
