With my 100% free recording setup of audacity and jesusonic effects I have my guitar plugged directly into the microphone jack on my computer. I would like to know how to apply those effects to the recording when I am on audacity. Thanks!

Simply put, you can't.

1) Audacity does not understand jesusonic effects. It is possible to do VST plugins if you use the VST enabler (follow the links at the audacity website).

2) Audacity has it's own proprietary effects plugin language, called "Nyquist", which can be used to program your own effects.

3) Either way, Audacity is incapable of performing any effect in real-time. It is an offline processing engine.

REAPER (http://www.cockos.com/reaper) understands the Jesusonic effects format (the same programmer developed the DAW software and the plugins). REAPER can also handle real-time processing.

Version 0.999 is the last freeware version, but it should still be available on the site if you go looking for it.
