Goodevening.
I'm looking for songs/bands that have a slowish hardcorish sound.
Like Funeral Diner, they start off pretty fast and hard but then get slow and meaningful in my opinion.
EXAMPLES
Funeral Diner - Yeah You Remember That
Saetia - Some Natures Catch No Plague

Check out sludge (the genre).
Not like your examples (at all), but its hardcore thats slow and heavy and speeds up.
Also, that Saetia song isn't really slow per se, it's more of a mid tempo song.
Sludge isn't hardcore wonderboy.

who do you think...
basically if your looking for screamo that is like those two songs. just try like pretty much the entire genre.
sorry if this doesn't help, there are much less fast screamo bands then slow

Welcome the Plague Year would be good. Bright Blue Calm, Belle Epoque, Dispensing of False Halos, Amanda Woodward, You and I, Kite Flying Society, Dear Diary I Seem To Be Dead, City of Caterpillar, etc. Pretty much a majority of the emo genre.

Emotion doesn't have time to be slow.
Ok. Who are you Raus?
You know who I am.
His Hero is Gone are crust, one of the defining bands. Eyehategod and is sludge. Besides being heavy, they have nothing in common. His Hero is Gone is really fast most of the time. Therefore, by definition, it's not sludge. If you took Cro-Mags + Slayer, you wouldn't get Facedowninshit. I believe there's already a whole unnesessary subgenre that mixes hardcore and metal...it's called metalcore.

I've heard His Hero Is Gone, it's not really close to anything I was looking for.
But thank you for suggesting them.
I like them.

ROFL I love that song. Usher's amazing. I worked with this dude Dwan who looked/sang just like Usher. It was amazing.
Welcome the Plague Year would be good, too.
