Meinl Soundcaster hats?

After hearing several recordings of Meinl hi-hats, I've become interested in them. I've decided that the Soundcaster Custom Soundwaves (medium or power models) sound completely orgasmic online. Problem is, there exists no Meinl dealer anywhere near me. Any of you guys played these hats before? What are your opinions? I'm looking for bright and lively. Good stick definition on the head of the stick, but when you play the hats closed, its not just a split second "tick," I want a little bit of sustain in there. What do you guys think? And what's an agreeable price, new or used?

As long as the hats have a good wash , you really dont have a problem with a dead tick providing that when you close them you don't push down to heavily on the hi hat pedal.

I have the soundcasters and I think they are great hats. They have a really defined chick when hit with the stick and the foot chick is good as well. All around, it just had the perfect sound for me. Im not good with describing sounds but these hats rank up there with the best.
