I was just about to post that^. What he said applies to drumming.

Those videos are ridiculous, part of me actually wants to buy the DVD. The guitar and other melodic ones are just phenomenal.

haha made me chuckle thinking of John Petrucci standing up there during a solo. I love the way he shreds, mechanical movements and they're so small, no facial expressions... Pure gold.
