It's actually pretty in depth too.

Pop-Punk
Forum for discussion of bands like Blink 182, Fall Out Boy or the Ramones. Pop punk is also well-known for being the most friendly of the major forums

Wait, so we're supposed to discuss the Ramones in pop-punk but NOFX in punk?

Internet makes sense.

Ramones could be discussed in Pop-Rock too, if you go by sound only. But anyway, some guy on wikipedia can't really tell us where to discuss certain bands. Both Ramones and NOFX can go in both pop-punk and punk, and do so.

Anyway, yeah, the article is decent I guess.

I put Entertainment back in after someone took it out, and a few minor changes as well.

I'll probably add something now now that it's not Entertainment anymore.

Edit: Man I don't know who originally wrote the Entertainment section, but it seems terribly worded.

Edit2: I rewrote it, although I don't think bits of the grammar are correct. Anyone feel free to fix/change it.

Sweboy's guide to editing wikipedia: The site is based on information/facts, not opinion. So for example "The beautiful art of Classical Guitar..." is not going to fly, because "beatiful" is an opinion.

Stay tuned for the next part of Sweboy's guide to editing wikipedia, in which I will answer the question "Is it allowed to post child porn on wikipedia?" Don't miss it.

the GD part is dumb. did they have to include the entire recent history? rules, policy, and hijinks included. who gives a crap? just say "GD. I just edited:

Rather then just say "30000" joke started here, I decided to explain the full story. Once, upon a time there was a user named ApromisingYear. He was very ambitious and had a dream of making some cd's to sell. Wanting to fulfill his dream of completing a CD, he decided to consult the good people of musicianforums for help. The joke is born. Apromisingyear created a thread asking where he could aquire a LOT of cd-r's so that he could start burning a cd that he had created. Firstly, users wondered and inquired about how many cd's APY would require, to which he responded that he would need 30,000 as he had ALOT of interest in his music. People began to ridicule APY for, basically, not having a clue. After they heard the first part, the people wanted more. They wanted to actually hear the sounds that so many people bared interest in, and so APY obliged and provided his material. That's when the flood of posts and ridiculing got to a level of epic proportions. The joke is sometimes still used to this day in subtle(Not Subtledagger, a moderator at the forums) posts made by users looking for laughs.

Mr. Ron
10-06-2006, 12:26 PM
I never got to hear APY's music. I feel I missed out on the whole joke.:p
