Hello all! It's been awhile since I've posted, but college, work, and drums/girls/friends take up a lot of my time. I'll try and get some pics (perhaps audio too) up of my kit as there have been some *tasty* additions since I've last posted.

Anyhow, do any of you have the 22" K zildjian heavy ride? I was wondering what the wash and sustain of the cymbal was like. Also, what's the price on one of them?

Also I have a few items for sale...

and

If you guys are interested, let me know and perhaps we can work something out here, or just finish it up through Ebay!

I have a 22" H K and it does have abit of wash. It's pretty stable because of its size, so it takes a while to warm up. But it has a lonnnnnnnng sustain.

Sounds good, its a shame I cant' hear or play one in person, from from what I've been reading it just might be the next drum related purchase I make. My A Custom Projection ride is getting a bit "old" to me.

I like my A Custom Projection :) Eventually I'll want to get something pingier though I think, since i use my B8 for crashing.

I haven't tried out a H K though.

I like your gear too but I'm mad poor, good luck though :)

Thanks :)

I've been using the Projection for about 3 years running without any change ups, and don't get me wrong- it's the best out the A Custom rides IMO, but I want a darker, more defined ride sound. Something new and different.

The K will go well with the A-C.

I didn't like that ride when I tried it out last week, but it's just because it doesn't fit my style of music. If you're looking for a crashable ride, I think thats what it is being used for primarily these days. Too washy for me

^^^ I ordered a new DW snare, and I've found that I'm not using the 5"x14" brass anymore. So rather then just have it sit around in its case, I'd like to see it go to someone who will play it and really enjoy the snare.

This was the snare that replaced it...

K Heavy rides have been some of the worst rides I've ever played on.

Nice snares though.

It's a DW 14x7 Edge with a natural lacquer finish over curly maple.

Thats a good price on those stands. I need some stands. Too bad my paycheck had to go to Senior things.

i remember you crolfe, you left after buying that wicked snare drum, and a hi hat stand of something.

you had a gretsch set, with dips as resos.

anyway....

the ping ride sounds like it might be a good ride for you, have you tried that?

i wish i had money, but i have to save for christmas, and whatever.

post pics of ur kit.
