question about grades

Ok, so i was just wondering what do i need to do to start the whole "grade" thing? I live in canada, and i just don't know what i need to do to start with that whole system. some music schools require an audition of a piece of music at a certain grade, and to be grade 10 on the piano by the end of my second year. what do i do??

they really dont require it to be a grade anything piece, i am music college right now, at most you will need your RCM grade two theory and RCM grade 6 pianno

also they teach you pianno, even if you have had no prior experience, the theory you need to know, and as for your main instrument, just pick a jazz piece and a classical piece, pick an etude or something and pick like autumn leaves or straight no chaser or nows the time or something
