shielding on the bass, better/shorter cable, using different circuits in the house to run the PC and amp.. A few things to try.

ok...how do i go about shielding ( i am a bit of a tech noob, not like i am doing an engineering course...oh wait yes i am)
Cable is pretty short and not particularly poor quality, think the pups are the prob not the cable,
Dunno about the different circuits, i am in a small uni flat.

I get some degree of interference, and though I've not gone to great extremes, here's a few obvious hints.
Face away from the computer!
Any extraneous equipment you don't need, turn it off. (CD players, fans, TV, fridge, etc)
Turn down the treble.

first two :thumb: will do
treble wise i am trying to tap so not best, i think part of the prob might be the fact that i am in a flat with 5 others with laptops etc, in a building with three other similar flats so the is alot of interference.

I would recommend a Faraday Cage.
