I'm curious what different people would suggest as covers for the band I'm in. We are wanting a variety of covers that would be suggested.
So I'll give a little background on the band. We currently have 2 covers, 1 orginal, and 2 new songs on the way. One being written by me the keyboardist/singer and the other being written by the guitarist. 2 of the songs are instruments that we have so far, the orginal and one of the covers.
The covers we have are Cali Soca by 311(the funny part is none of us are big 311 fans, but its a good song) and Speak Free by Incubus aka 1st album meaning showing who their biggest influences were (Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, you get the picture).
We are a prog band, yet we want to keep our variety wide considering we all love different yet same styles of music. Our biggest influences would have to be Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Dream Theater, and all style of music.
