is the new band I am now in. After the split of my old band The Coronation I started bass degree at ACM (UK), and this band The Skies rang up ACM and and asked for people to audition, they recommended myself and The Coronation's drummer. We both got the gig over loads of other auditions, is going to be hard work, 5 practises a week until gigging. They are signed to a big management company who pay for everything and wanted the old bassist and drummer out, so theyre happy now. Big things are lined up for when we're ready, theres alot of buzz between our management and Sting's management and loads of labels.

But anyway just thought I'd post you the myspace, see what you think, theyre old recordings done at Sawmills studios where Oasis recorded Definitely/Maybe album amongst others.

Hey awesome, I'm at the ACM too (although doing a lowly HND!), and Ive heard of The Coronation. Sucks to hear about the split.

Your new band better be good!

Yeah The Coronation had a single out with Worst Case Scenario Records in the BDC. Its a shame but it happens!

Nah, I live all the way in fetcham, near leatherhead, and get a train in each day.

Course isnt going too badly, gotta learn a bit of Avril Lavign this week. Great. Ive been playing the least amount of time out of the entire stream, most of them have been playing 5+ years, and Ive got 2. Also, everyone else is better than me. Really sucks!

It isn't really about the amount of time you have racked up in years. It is about the amount of time that you have actually spent practising and how dedicated you are to your instrument.
