Hey does anyone have the superfan package from Directv? Now that I have my 67” DLP TV set up with HDTV I’m thinking watching games in HD should be happening. So far I’ve only used it for gaming, just bought an HD receiver. Saw this site: www.heybuttercup.com wanted to know what “up to 9 games in HD every Sunday” means realistically.

Don't wait, man, it's so worth it. The games are amazing in HD. And: NFL cheerleaders, also in HD!! Up to 9 games realistically means most of the games are in HD. Last week there were 7. They don't have enough bandwidth to go above 9. If you are a fan of the game you can't go wrong with superfan. Can't wait for that Bears/Seahawks game.

HD is worth it. I used to never be able to see the difference. I got it now and its awesome. You can see like every blade of grass on the field:eek:

That's two votes. I wanna see the blades of grass. And the cheerleaders :D
I enjoyed watching the Bears cream the Seahawks, but the game wasn't all that great. Oh I didn't even think about the cheerleaders. Yum. Hey carbomer (where'd you get your name?), how does that 8 games on 1 screen thing work? What do they do with the audio for that, is it silent, or a mix, or what?

i think he means you get 8 games in HD every weekend, with each game being on a different channel

Naw, there's a couple cool channels that come with superfan, poster is talking about onna them. The 8 on 1 is like a screen full of little screens, and you have a cursor you can move around. Whichever you have highlighted is the one you here. Then you can "click" on it and it'll send you to whatever channel that game is on. It really rocks if you have widescreen cuz you can do splitscreen and watch this channel on half and a full game on the other. My buddies and I call it the "octo-football-channel".
