He was at the new skatepark we have here in Winnipeg, which is one of the best in the world...pwned Calgary.

Bam was also there, it was crazy.

Just thought I'd tell everyone.

Discuss seeing pro athletes...I guess...I really got no point to this thread.

He was here in Missoula, where I live just last Sunday for the opening of our skatepark. I wanted to go but forgot. I guess like 8,000 people showed up which is crazy 'cause this is a pretty small town.

Yeah I heard about that. He didn't tell the Winnipeg folks he was comin otherwise we probably would have gotten a good 50 000 people gathered at The Forks.

I went to a free basketball camp with Damon Stoudamire.

He was kind of an asshole.

I met Marian Hossa, Brendan Morrow, Andrew Ference, and Jason LaBarbera when they all used to play in the WHL here in Portland.

I also got to meet Cam Neely when I was in 5th or 6th grade. He used to play for the Winterhawks, so he was signing autographs at the Rose Garden. Luckily I knew a guy who worked there, and he got me in. I was first in line, and they put a picture of me and Cam in the Hawks program a few games later.

Yeah, I was just reading a little article, I guess they didn't want those ginormous crowds because they were filming for some...thing. Missoula was apparently the only pre-notified city, probably because it's so small.

I have players from the Wizards over at my neighbor's almost daily, seeing as he is the assistant coach.

I've met Joe Gibbs, and a huge load of Redskins, they all live around here too.

I met Don Cherry once. He signed a hockey stick for me. I also met Bobby Orr at an arena when he was scouting someone. And Darryl Sitler at a Leaf game. Thats pretty much it.

I saw Tony Hawk and bunch of other bmxer's and skaters when I was younger. They were shooting a commercial for the X games a few years ago at the liquor store a block away. I got all they're autographs.

Umm, I met Kelly Holmes and Sir Steve Redgrave, got their signatures at the inagural UK School Games. Also met some pro fencers, but they aren't really mainstream famous so that probably doesn't count.
