My flatmate just told me that apparantly there's some kind of gun shooting/ hostage situation in texas somewhere?

I believe it's in Colorado or theres one happening in CO too at least. And I believe some guy is holding 5 people hostage in a school with a gun/bomb.

Colorado is screwed up. The school was only about half an hour from Columbine.

What is it with these people who do this. What do they hope to achieve?

Yeah it's weird. He hand-picked the hostages and he only picked girls. Then he let them go one by one and when the SWAT team got in the school he decided to shoot one of the two hostages left and then killed himself.
