Anybody a fan of old school hardcore, meaning hardcore before it was bastdardized by metal? Bands that are keepin the old school alive imo would include Hoods, Folsom, Powerhouse, etc., those are some of my favorite, but there are a ton more obviously. I love when a new band comes out and puts a fresh spin on the classic old school hardcore sound.

Know of any other good bands?

Like Hardcore punk?

88 Fingers Louie, A Global Threat, and Comeback Kid are the only hardcore punk bands I listen to these days.

You should definetly check out the punk forum though man.

Metal cannot bastdardize any music, only improve it.

All joking aside though, Powerhouse is pretty good. I have heard Helmet be described as Hardcore Punk and I love Helmet. Im not sure if they really are Hardcore punk though.
