Some of you may've been at ACL fest (Austin City Limits), and it was probably the most impressive performance of the week. Stanton was ROCK solid, and one of the highlights was the cover of Immigrant Song. Not only were they great, but Leo Nocentelli, guitarist for the Meters, came out and jammed with Galactic for a few songs! I seriously doubt Galactic does this every show, so lucky me...
Also, I haven't been around lately. I've been really busy with school starting back up and don't have as much time to spend on the drums....so my time that I spent on here is spent on the drums :)
How've you guys been? I saw that lime has a maggot brain icon but haven't seen anyone else I recognized

I just saw Stanton Moore Trio
I wish I could have gone to ACL Saturday just to catch Galactic though. My buddy went all 3 days and said it was his favorite show. You should have went and saw Stanton Sunday night. Played a killer set!! Papa Mali played during When the Levee Breaks, it was badass! Check the Gear and Media section, I put up a bunch of pictures.

I saw Galactic a couple years ago and they sucked. Maybe it was an off night. Moore was playing like he was shitfaced. It was like he was just hitting the drums and cymbals as hard as he could for the entire show(seriously).
I thought his playing had more finnesse than that.
