Have I been really confused all these years or did Sabian stop making Ice Bells, I swear they made it. Now I can't find any online. Help!

I dunno man. I saw one the other day at a music shop but I think it was used. I know Sabian doesnt have the bell on their website.

You know I'm pretty sure someone on here has one. I'm pretty sure it was the Ice Bell from Sabian, and not the Zil-bel. I know LP makes one and apparently from looking at random drum shops so does Paiste. Wtf?

I cannot find it online as well, but it is in the 2006 catalogue. I belive it's sizes are 7", 9", and 12". I myself have a 7", and I bought it a couple of weeks ago, so yeah, they still make it.

Sabian only puts the 200-odd most popular items in each catalogue, but don't normally discontinue things [unless for a specific reason]. It is the same with the Radia stuff, it's no longer in the catalogue but all still available [except for the splashes].

Check out the UFiP bells, they're really beautiful and melodic. They leave even the Paiste bells for dead and they're priced cheaper. My next purchase'll be a 6".

its classed in their orchestral stuff. you usually can get them through special order from any local sabian dealer.

I NEVER wanted a bell on my kit untill I heard the Radia Bell (I think it was 8")

I might buy one from some kid for 30 buckaroos USD

Go for either the radia bell or the Stagg Black Metal one. I got mine for £12 and it's absolutly amazing!

That is because UFIP use to be just focus on percussion, hence why they have a huge range of it.

not all of it....the majority of the radia line is so specific sounding....unlike normal cymals....

13" Paiste Mega Cup Chime
Sounds good. I've heard alot of good things about that one, I'll definitely try it out. My 12" is just too mellow for the things I use it for.

I love them. Heavy and gnarly enough to use as an aux ride, but the perfect bell-tone

aye, was going to mention that. The Paiste 6" Accept cymbal is great, but subtle and not-loud.
