i need to find some bags, heres my dillemma. when i ordered my set i ordered fusion sizes, the company messed up and sent like half fusion half standard. like my mounted toms are fusion sized but my floor tom and snare is standard. so i cant just buy a bag set because no set will fit right. what bags do you guys suggest? i wanna try to keep it at 250 max.

I suggest...call the drum maker and say WTF?

who doesn't like 10 12 16 sizes? A 14" floor tom just doesn't have the fat, low end for me to really consider it a floor tom anyway.

anyway, I bought my cases (not bags, mind you) from a company called Nomad. Look em up on EBay. It's fairly cheap, and they're pretty good quality fiber cases. They're not invincible like the SKB or Humes & Berg Enduros, but you just take a little care with em and your drums will get from point A to point B without scratch or dent. And considering it cost me i think $220 for 6 cases (10 12 14 16 22 14), I'd say you're definitely set up to meet your budget.

For bags i'd go protection racket...

However, and I'm serious.

If you aren't returning your drums for the ones you ordered. You aren't serious enough for even needing bags to protect them. if obviously you care not about the sound and type (duh! your order was F'd up!) then why bother?

For bags I say rockbag by warwick and for proper cases I say Hardcase, I have ad both, and they are fantastic. The rockbags have loads of thick fluffy lining and are simply fbrilliant! And the hardcases just PwN

i ordered these drums 3 years ago. i cant get pissed at em now. i never saw the importance of the mix up before now. i actually like the sizes the way they are. just because another company messed up my order and i like the sizes doesnt mean im an unexperienced drummer (josiah) its just means i know what i like and why fix it if it aint broke

Ah, I didn't know this ^^^

Maybe if you call the company who sells/makes th bags then ask them to "mix and match"?

not only are they some of the best built bags, and have a great price, but they offer the biggest variety in sizes, so protection racket gets my vote.
