At parts the vocals sound like you are pushing them out too much. I think it might sound a little better if you recorded the guitar from a different mic position to get a little more lowend. You can barely hear any of the bass notes on the guitar.

It was recorded as part of a school orientated project where we audition at school and then get to record in a studio for a day (well.. less than day. Each school gets two days).
I agree about the guitar, I would've loved more bass and more grunt, it sounds to sterile. As they say, hindsight's a beautiful thing.
The vocals were the second take, except for a couple parts where it's taken from the first take because it was better than the second. It was only my second time recording in a studio and I'm still getting used to actually trying to take everything in, haha. There are things you don't notice until you leave and listen to the track a week later, like the miss timed piano/vocals (or maybe it's miss timed guitar, whatever..).

I think you were also pushing your vocals out a little too hard. I still thought it was cool. No many acoustic people that are good nowadays. You should look into a soundhole pickup. They get way more acoustic tone than an ele-acoustic.

Well I'm actually glad you guys thing I was pushing too hard because my main problem used to be not pushing hard enough so now I can just fine tune it (or maybe a bit more than fine).
Thanks for the comments.
