Listening to alot of mewithoutyou, i dunno bored.
Like a breeze I was waiting to be seen
But I was lost like a life from a fiend
And you found me like a penny in the couch
Brushed off and saved for a better look
But Miss that’s my whole life you took
Residing now in the pouch of a purse
You washed away what I thought was a curse
At first I was glad a wasn’t missed
Now I wait here until she makes her first wish
A crack in a mirror
Split apart to a half
No longer seen clearly from my eye to the glass
I’m moving further and further apart
But closer together than the start
Stuck like a note on a staff
But here to stay in her behalf
Deceived of the truth I couldn’t see
Brought down to the dirt like a widow on her knees
This weekend and the past
Wasted like a wrong turn and a crash
But I was lost before my forehead hit the dash
And you got out safe, along another driver in my place
The breadbasket and the picture of my face
The only traces left for you to erase
Until the next is gray and old or in a vase
A crack in a mirror
Split apart to a half
No longer seen clearly from my eye to the glass
Now there’s no mirror Oh my God I’m lost
But at last it’s my mind she doesn’t cross
I’m free like Fire from a our long blast
Thank god I’m not here to stay at last
Like a breeze I was waiting to be seen
But I was lost like a life from a fiend
And you found me like a penny in the couch
Brushed off and saved for a better look
But Miss that’s my whole life you took
Residing now in the pouch of a purse
