I don't want to be a doctor or a lawyer so I think that high school is a waste of time for me.

Run, seriously. Dropping out of highschool is probably one of the worst mistakes you could ever make. You will have such a limited future it will drive you into the ground.

Run away from home, make yourself your guardian and drop out now.

ah, so you have a very supportive family who would just love it if you drop out? Maybe help you get a job?

Then why am I encouraging you to stay in school? You obviously got everything going for you. You don't have to do any work.

Jon
09-17-2006, 05:33 PM
To be fair, I thought school was a waste of my life.

And it actually was.

So I dropped out.

Twice.

Then the other week I decided to enroll in college (I think its called community college in America?) and its the best educational decision I've ever made. Its all vocational so I can see its relevance, and we're doing things the way we'd actually do them if we were real graphics designers.

I still want to be a rockstar, but this is 2 1/2 days a week so eventually I'll get a job and still be able to party like its 1977 but yeah.

Good stuff.

If you're grateful for it, then why should you be ungrateful towards the fact that you're "forced to go there"?

But hey, there are some wonderful career oppurtunites out their for retards like you:

- Rascall Flatts roadie, as already stated
- Cocksucker (not that you aren't one already)
- Professional street performer
- Panhandler
- Injured war veteran
- Sanitary engineering (eating leftover food on the sidewalk)

At best you could be that guy at the pizza shop that quits every other week but still works there.

Are you implying that Nelly, Ja Rule, LL Cool J, Christina Aguilera, Courtney Love, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Osbourne and Jessica Simpson perhaps didn't get the education that they would have needed?

You take a list and figure that out of all the high-school drop outs EVER, those are the only successful ones.

Prolly a pretty poor percentage...

But srs, amit put it best. If you dont get education, you can't go anywhere/can't get away from rednecks.
