HORSE the band is self-proclaimed Nintendo-core. They use a ton of MIDI-synth layering and videogame samples, I think. If it's not videogame samples, then it's cartoon samples or something of the like. Entertaining to say the least. I'd be more excited about HORSE than Dragonforce, but that's just my negative disposition towards DF speaking. :p

Same here. DF bores the hell out of me. HORSE the Band seems like an awsome band to see live though.
I've heard that DF plays really sloppy live...

They're supposed to be pretty energetic live.

Im going to see this show September 29th, the day after I see Gigantour.
Anyway, I have heard that Dragonforce always put on a great show. They arent always sloppy, but they do have their moments. At least this is what a friend of mine who has seen them several times told me.

That's a deal. I'd go even though I have only the slightest interest in HORSE, and like I said before, no interest in Dragonforce.
Man, who woulda put those two bands on a tour together? They seem a bit different, heh.
Then again, it'd be kind of hard to liken any band to HORSE, I guess.

Something tells me it's the video game thing. They both do it differently, but it's there.

Im going for Dragonforce and HORSE. I can care less about All that Remains. I have heard they put on a decent show, but I never got in to them.

You're right about the midi-synth layering, but they hardly use any samples in their songs. They usually use samples before and after the song, if at all. Most of their songs aren't about video games, either. People just tend to think that because two of their most popular songs have references to video games in them, and most people haven't heard any of their other material.
I've seen HORSE live a few times, very entertaining stuff. I have a few friends who saw DragonForce live last week and they said it was pretty average as far as live shows go.

Saw it last night and it was a fun gig. I had fun even though I don't like any of the bands beyond a slight interest in Dragonforce (mainly because of their guitarists). I don't listen to them at home though. You'll enjoy it.

Dragonforce are fun live, they get drunk during the show, not after. You'll have fun, I guarantee it.

DragonForce are pretty sloppy live, but great fun nonetheless.
All That Remains, although generic, are VERY good live, solid AND energetic.
HORSE the Band I like, but haven't seen live.
Sounds like you're in for a treat TS.

This gig should be good. All That Remains are amazing live, wouldn't surprise me if they stole the show.....but this time round I'm going for Dragonforce...HORSE will be ok to watch with a beer, but nothing more tbh
