Recording Softwear

Does anyone know where I can get some good free recording software for my laptop? Right now I have Kristal and it's pretty good but I'm looking for other programs too. Don't say "Hey go out and buy Pro Tools" or something like that because right my band doesn't have the money to buy it. Any help would be great.
