Risk is a damn good game. I wish more people would play it. I've been craving a game so long.

Why does Cob have a period after his name?

I've only played RISK, and it's fun. I need to play A&A sometime.

Risk only works when you're playing with your best friends. Then it's hilarious.

Risk is an amazing game. I have never lost at that game, I'm 5-0. I should probably retire while I have the perfect record.

I've never played Stratego or A&A.

me and my friend made up a strategy type game (it's probly already a game, but as far as we know we made it up) it's basically set on a five x five grid, and you put a letter in it one at a time, and the first person to make a word that's four letters or longer wins, the words can also move in any direction (except diagonal) we just called it wordbox, because we couldn't think of anything decent, we just play that all the time though, it's quite fun

Me and my friend had a week long game of Axis and Allies that we played this summer. I used to look at the board in the middle of the night and just think of strategies. It's a great game except that there are too many things to keep track of.

Risk is such a cool game. Anytime we get 4 or more people at someone's house, we always end up playing Risk. Then someone gets pissed and quits, and we're to lazy to divide up his territory, and that's usually how our games end. =/

I like playing chess every now and then, but that's about it.

Dude that isn't a strategy game

we're talking serious military strategy games

complete with cigars and diplomacy and double-bluffs

I read an interesting set of rules for "riskopoly"; simulatenous risk and monopoly where £100 = a set of troops and holding more terrirories adds to your income and stuff

you had to win at risk by pwning monopoly

also extortion was encouraged

Axis and Allies seems like way too much work. Thats why I like Risk... its fun and takes some thought, but its still easy enough.

It's like Risk but with dozens of human opponents, spells, magic monsters you summon, etc.

Risk for D&D players?

Nice avatar, by the way.
