How do i sing? recorded vocals!

ok i want to know if i can sing? or i can be a healty candidate to get some people together to start a band. I recorded this a while ago with a ****ty recorder and a computer, so please ignore the low quality format. I sang the song not too loud cus it would cause way to much distortion. Please give me some feedback. Am i good? Am i just ****ty?

Obvisouly everyone wishes to be able to sing, and i dont want to keep deludeing myself if i just suck and wont have any potiential. I aint got the balls to just start a band/or get people together if i suck, so i wanna know if i'm any good b4 i do it.

I wouldn't say your ready now, but if you really practiced it could be possible. You just gotta really sing out from the diaphram and breathe in through your nose before a phrase. You need to post a sample with music for us to get a real idea. The idea is to be confident in your singing to the point you don't have to ask people if you're good, you know you're good, and you know what you gotta do to get better or achieve the sound that YOU want and like.

It doesn't matter how much you suck if you are confident and practice. Singing quietly can take out some of the body of your voice, but singing too loudly will also limit your vocal range, you want to find some kind of happy medium.

But anyways, it didn't sound horrible, but if you don't already play some sort of musical instrument (besides drums) consider it, just because it'll be that much easier if you get a basic understanding of how notes are supposed to sound.
