i give out rep more often now. since it has come back and the system is different then before (its more like the older system, i believe. the last system only members with stars could give rep) i think it can be more fun and less serious. plus people in high places always say it doesn't mean much, so wtf? may as well have a bit of fun.

i remember when jimmybowels first got his stars. he was pretty cool about it. you could go up to him and say "can i have some rep" and he would say "sure. here you go". he did that for a bit, at least. i always thought that was funny.
